I work as a cardiac electrophysiologist, a clinical specialty that deals with excessively fast or slow heart rates. I am also involved in research related to my field, both clinical and translational.
In my spare time, I like to go on treks with a team of friends and especially look forward to an annual trip to the Himalayas. I love to practice photography with my Canon EOS 550 and am thrilled when I get some good shots. I am club level chess player, mostly playing 1 or 3 minute blitz games online now-a-days. I am an open source enthusiast, use linux on my computers, android on my phone, and open source software as much as possible. I am also a self taught programmer and love writing stuff with Python. I am an avid reader and you can see the books I have read here.
